In addition to the 8- to 10-week core classes, which provide the full spectrum of parenting concepts and skills, PEP offers shorter courses that focus on key parenting topics in two to four class meetings. Examples of short courses are Managing Anger, PEP II Plus, Limit Setting and Teens: The Challenge Continues.
PEP also offers dozens of two-hour workshops to address issues that regularly come up in life with children, such as bullying, challenging behaviors of toddlers and preschoolers, communicating with teens, power struggles, technology and media use and many more. And together with the Montgomery County Public Schools, PEP offers a free Parent Academy Talk every session.
