Celebrating Screen Free Week

Hello, parents, and welcome to Screen-Free Week! If this is the first you’ve heard about it, we suggest you read Rinny Yourman’s post for some quick inspiration. And, before you turn off the computer at home (or, while you take a break at work), download 101 Screen-Free Activities and perhaps check out other links to other ideas and tips for limiting screen time at the Screen-Free Week website.

“Each year, often in conjunction with schools, organizations and whole communities, families exchange their usual screen-based leisure time activities for more time playing, creating, reading, dreaming, connecting with nature and enjoying family and friends,” says Susan Linn in this report today from CNN Living.

We’d love to know how your family observes this week. Leave a comment, and tell us about your experiences.
