It’s human nature—and the nature of parents—to slip back into old habits, even when we know better. Why do we get stuck in familiar behavior patterns? And, more important, how do we get un-stuck?
PEP III: Empowering Yourself and Others teaches how to apply the concepts you’ve learned in your parenting classes to your whole life. You will gain insight into yourself, your values and your relationships—with all the adults in your life as well as with your children. By the end of this course you will know:
- Practical steps to decision making in your parenting and all your life goals
- How to transform a cycle of discouragement into a cycle of encouragement
- The Adlerian concept of “lifestyle” and how you developed yours
- Advanced parenting skills, selected by the class participants
PEP III: Empowering Yourself and Others completes your learning in PEP’s core classes and fulfills the requirements for “graduation.” With 28 weeks of education and training in the skills of positive parenting and enriching human relationships, you are well equipped to lead your children into confident, responsible, successful adulthood.
PEP III: Empowering Yourself and Others is scheduled during the fall and winter sessions each year.
